Katrina Kaif, on an episode at Koffee With Karan, had expressed her desire to work with Vicky Kaushal. A few episodes later, Karan puts across Katrina’s statement to Vicky Kaushal, at which Vicky pretends to faint. And, that’s where this love story began. After reading about Katrina’s and Vicky’s wedding for a month-long and still being confused, the sweet couple tied the knot on Thursday December 9, 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Chauth Ka Barwara town of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. It is also being reported at The Indian Express that the couple has struck a deal with an OTT giant to stream the wedding as a special package next year.
Haldi: Shukr. Sabr. Khushi. 💛♾
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif shared new photos from their Haldi ceremony. Both Vicky and Katrina look delighted as they sit beside each other during the haldi ceremony. The handsome groom was in a white kurta pyjama. He strikes a pose in blue shades with water gushing over him. Katrina is having a blast with her family in a white and pink trousseau paired with a white floral necklace and earrings. The actor is seen being showered with rose petals as she flaunts her henna design.

Katrina wore a choker necklace, baju bandh, mang tika, earrings, and several rings from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery. She wore a multi-colored matka silk lehenga with a backless patchwork blouse with a plunging V neckline and an inverted hem decorated with intricate thread and sequin embroidery. The attire is completed in her ensemble with an organza dupatta. While Vicky Kaushal wore an embroidered raw silk bandhgala jacket with greyish-brown chintz prints over his mint silk kurta. He paired it with a Bangalore silk ivory salwar. The ambiance at the event was lively as the couple had a blast dancing their heart out with their loved ones.



Wedding Day
Everybody is going gaga about their wedding trousseau, why shouldn’t anybody not go crazy! The official handle of the brand Sabyasachi took over Instagram to explain the dresses. For Katrina Kaif’s red trousseau, he wrote, “The bride Katrina Kaif @katrinakaif wears a classic Sabyasachi red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet. In homage to the groom’s Punjabi roots, her veil is custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold. The lehenga is paired with bespoke bridal jewelry of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand-strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery @sabyasachijewelry.”

Katrina’s lehenga was complemented by Vicky’s ivory sherwani. Sabyasachi writes in the same post, “The groom Vicky Kaushal @vickykaushal09 wears an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar. Sundowner: To love, honor and cherish🤍
For her sundowner, Katrina wore a vintage sari with a long veil. Resembling a white wedding gown with its fitted silhouette, the saree was embroidered with hand-cut English flowers and decorated with gems and crystals. She styled it with a statement choker necklace and matching earrings with uncut diamonds, opals, and emerald. Vicky had put on a light beige silk embroidered sherwani with a churidar.
